Things I Like (+)

Go-Karting gave me an idea or let me experience like driving a real car in my own. I can say that learning to drive really takes time in my part. Driving is not an easy thing where you have to take note or be alert, think ahead of what’s going to happen. It’s one of the good places to practice driving and … you’ll get there.

It was after work at night when we went karting. Before going to the racefield, video tutorials were served. There were signs you have to remember and thereafter, it’s time to try.. one of the hippest sports in Cebu.

So while preparing our helmets, I have this feeling of fear and think a bit not to continue/try. I have questioned myself if I can really do it.. so many curved lines. Well, the race began and there you go.. I was the only one went to the ground. I stopped and one assistant helped me. He told me twice on how to handle/manage driving. After that, things went smoothly with me arrived at last. Such a Lol. A friend commented, I’m such a very girly/feminine type of a person. Then, we went for photoshoots to cherish this race bonding.

One thing I will never forget about this is… when my mates find hard to overtake of me. They’re confused if they’re going to get ahead of me or not. It was because they can’t read my directions. I was going left, right in a sudden. I was really laughing hard about this. Great evening!

                                    THE CAST

Well, I haven’t took a pic during the event and I can only showed to you here my photo before going to the theater. I was very busy playing games in an ipad. I was not able to captured best to bookmarked events. So I just grabbed an image to for a better post.

It was my first time 4D experience and one of my funniest times with friends. We’re very noisy and laughters surely there. I laughed and teased one friend of mine with her loud expression “kapoya” means “tiring”.. I guessed she was very tired laughing while watching the 15-minutes scene. Other friends of mine made it real for they were carried out on what’s happening. We’re really having so much fun! As the short movie ended, we’re still can’t get over on it. We talked and recalled our reactions and the effects made where shakes of our chairs, sharp objects under our legs that corresponds to what’s happening in the movie, the real sprays of water in our face and other “seems-real effects”.

With P150 promo and friends, I’ve made myself enjoyed with my sister. Little things with true people around you would be a satisfying one!

With my sister.. very busy playing.

It’s elaine’s 3rd birthday!! What a cute cake!? I was browsing on facebook via skype when I saw this pic uploaded my her mother who is my cousin and felt it’s pitiful cute idea. Elaine looks so cute which really captured the things I appreciate. Though it’s just a large bread, it appeared so heartfelt and would love to give her a tight warm hug. Take a look at the other photo… cutie pie!

I had my first cup of coffee ever today! … can’t help but think about the side effects. Wew.. it keeps me awake. I like the meaning of LOVE in it, as it goes … LIVE OUR VENDING EXPERIENCE <—- nice pick!

Learning billiard. First time!!!

I never thought that this game will gave a good feeling. I’d like to do it again. Thanks to my mates… I have learned playing one of my ever dreamed game. It’s a happy feeling when I got to shot the ball.

Each day is a special gift from God, and while life may not always be fair, you must never allow the pains, hurdles, and handicaps of the moment to poison your attitude and plans for yourself and your future. You can never win when you wear the ugly cloak of self-pity, and the sour sound of whining will certainly frighten away any opportunity for success. Never again. There is a better way.

“Each day is a gift.”

One often needs to stop, take a deep breath and simply enjoy the moment to be able to appreciate the little things in life. We need to attune ourselves more closely with the world around us to truly enjoy the miracle that is life. The best way to do so is to think like a child, divest ourselves of all negativity and put away all the bad memories. Only when we allow ourselves to, will we be able to enjoy and appreciate the little things in life. It requires a restructuring of our mindsets and a certain determination to think in a positive cheerful way. We should set aside our goals and aspirations and take pleasure in what is, rather than struggle for what is not and may possibly never be. The world of our senses is our most basic reaction level and very often the sights, sounds and smells of everyday living are the best things to appreciate and enjoy. It is only when for whatever reason a sense does not work, that one really understands and appreciates the lttle things in life.

Here are some quick ways you can add happiness to your life each day:

  • Each night as you go to bed, list the 6 things you are most grateful for that day. If you’re having trouble counting to six, remember the little things such as having a roof over your head, food to eat, eyes to read this with and friends who care.

  • Read positive quotes and stories. A quote takes only seconds or a minute to read so even the busiest of people can fit this in.

  • Stop what you are dong and stretch your arms and legs. Feel the sensations of stretching and the pleasure of using muscles.

  • Go out of your way to thank someone for what they are doing. It doesn’t have to be something they do for you – maybe thanks the lollipop lady for helping children stay safe, a stacker for keeping supermarket shelves full or a recycler for saving resources.

  • Smile. Yep, that’s all it takes – just smile occasionally even if no one is there to see it!

  • Have a cuddle. Find a child, lover, pet, teddy bear or friend and cuddle them often.

  • Wear things you like – perfume, after shave lotion, jewellery, favourite clothes. Wear them and enjoy wearing them rather than leaving them stored for rare ‘special occasions’.

  • Contact a friend or relative and chat about unimportant things – use email if you haven’t got time for a long phone call or visit.

  • Eat and drink slowly – it is less stressful on your body and mind and gives you time to actually taste it. Experience the textures on your tongue, too.

  • Take notice of nature. Watch a sunrise or sunset, literally smell a flower, listen to the rain on a roof, walk on some autumn leaves and breathe in some fresh air. Taking a few seconds to appreciate beauty and nature is a great way to forget your worries and bring a smile to your face.

  • Indulge in a hobby. If you can’t actually do it every day, read, talk or daydream about it instead.

I was browsing at his mobile when I got to see this unexpected pic where at first I didn’t even notice the message written near the bed. He keeps on telling me that there’s something for me see and found it… Oohh, another cute thing for me to feel very overwhelming. I’m so glad with the idea on how he do things like this making me feel very special just this beautiful words he painted and the fact that this can’t be removed. So maybe I’ll be telling the ocean and the seas to make it stay forever. Thus, take this words from me… i love you.

I can’t fully express how happy I am seeing this welcome message when I visited him in his work. Though it appears “OA” in my part or a corney stuff to laugh, it seems I can’t utter any words for me to make him feel the wonderful feeling I have. Just a simple message written in a white cartolina puts a smile on my face. Such words that create gratefulness. So damn cute.
